Are you ready to be a Gold Award Girl Scout?
Gold Award Girl Scouts are rock stars, role models, and real-life
heroes. How do they do it? By using everything they've learned as a
Girl Scout to help fix a problem in their community or make a lasting
change in their world. And you don't have to be a seasoned activist or
star student to get there. Girl Scouts who want to get involved and go
for the Gold Award work with a team of trusted experts in their
community to guide them through challenges and lead them to success,
step-by-step. There's no other program like it! "Read
More" for important workshop details and resources.
Required: This Gold Award Workshop is required
for all Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts wanting to earn the Gold
Award. It is required that the Gold Award Workshop be completed
before girls select a Gold Award project
and begin their steps to earning the Gold
Award, but may be taken after completing the Journey
requirements. Participants must be registered to attend.
How to earn the Girl Scout Gold Award:

the National and/or Global link to learn how others are solving this
issue around the globe
- Ensure your solution to the issue
will be measurable and sustainable to make a lasting impact on the
community beyond the completion of the project
- Form a team
of subject matter experts and people impacted by the community issue
who care to help you solve it
- Develop your project plan
and timeline to demonstrate how you will lead your team to solve the
community issue
- Submit your project proposal to your Girl
Scout council for approval

your council-approved project plan

you've created in your community and the world, share your story,
