The biggest Girl Scout adventures are still ahead.

Whether you have a girl in Girl Scouts or are a dedicated volunteer, so much has been accomplished, discovered, and explored over the past year. And there’s even more ahead—more opportunities to try new things and to remain part of something truly special, supportive, and inspiring year after year.

The Girl Scout membership year runs from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027. Annual membership dues are $75 for girl members and $30 for adult members. Additional local feels fees and discounts may apply. Financial aid may be available. Girl Scout memberships must be renewed annually.

Please don't forget to renew your Girl Scout membership this fall. The new Membership Year starts October 1, 2026.

2026-27 Annual Membership Dues: $75 for girls ($65 + $10 council service fee) and $30 for adults. During renewal time, annual memberships will be labeled as Next Year (NY).

All girl members who sold 45+ packages during the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Program earned free membership. Parents/caregivers or troop co-leaders can log into their MYGS account now to renew girls who earned this free membership. The free membership discount will be applied automatically in the cart at checkout.

PREP FOR EARLY BIRD MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

Ensure troops/groups designate girl cookie rewards in eBudde by April 3.
Submit MY27 Troop/Group Volunteer Renewal Survey by April 10, to receive free membership renewal for two leaders and two product program volunteers per troop/group, (See survey for details; restrictions apply.)
Plan ahead: have discussions with families now regarding if girls will be returning next fall.
Have a renewal plan for girls who DO NOT earn free membership; discuss with families to determine who is responsible for paying membership renewal fees.
Find out your girls'/adults' t-shirt sizes... yes, the free t-shirts for early renewal are returning! Last year, these free t-shirts were captured in 2 hours!

IMPORTANT DEADLINES

April 3: confirm cookie package allocations and rewards by girls in eBudde
April 10: submit RENEWAL SURVEY
April 23: GSVSC Town Hall (focus on early bird membership renewal)
April 30: log into your MYGS account to verify eligibility to claim a t-shirt
May 8: claim a renewal t-shirt

NOTES

All membership registration fees are NONREFUNDABLE and NONTRANSFERRABLE. Renewed membership paid by families or troops/groups CANNOT BE REFUNDED even if determined at a later date that free membership was earned through the cookie program or volunteer renewal survey.
All free membership renewal promotions expire June 30, 2026.
All product program manager and driver roles are assigned and only renewable by council staff.

Trouble Logging into MYGS Account toggle arrow

Why isn’t my username working?
Your username is typically your email address. If you have more than one email address, try each. You can also use the “Forgot Your Password?” link to send a reset email to your email address. If you’re still having trouble, contact our Customer Care team.

Why am I not receiving the password reset emails?
The password reset emails come from gsusacustomercare@girlscouts.org, so please make sure it’s added to your safe senders list. If you requested the reset email before marking our email address as safe, check your spam folder. If you’re still not receiving the email, contact our Customer Care team to verify that your username/email address is correct.

How do I reset my password when I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account?
Our Customer Care team can easily change your username/email address without requiring you to recreate your account. Contact us to get started.

Why can’t I see my family when I log in?
There are a couple reasons this could happen:

Another adult family member may be listed as the preferred contact on the account. That person must log in to renew. Contact our Customer Care team if you’d like to be listed as your household’s preferred contact.

You may have a second or duplicate account with a different email address. Try a different username. If that works, be sure to contact our Customer Care team to merge the two accounts into one.

Why can’t I see my troop(s) when I log in?
There are several reasons this could happen:

Troops are listed on a separate tab from your family. If you have more than one troop, look for the pull-down menu to change between them.
Check your member profile to make sure you’re listed as a volunteer in the troop.
Not all troop volunteers can access the troop tab. Contact us to see which volunteer roles they allow to access the tab.

If your background check has expired, you may lose access until it is up-to-date.

Lifetime Members toggle arrow

All Girl Scout lifetime members are eligible to participate in the free t-shirt renewal promotion. To renew, lifetime members must sign into their MYGS account to renew their memberships for MY27 via renewing their member role(s). Please update your profile and contact information that has changed.

FREE Tie-Dye T-Shirts toggle arrow

Early Bird Membership Renewal is CLOSED (June 30).

All girls AND adult members who renewed (for free or paid memberships) between May 4-7 are eligible to CLAIM a FREE tie-dye Girl Scout t-shirt (pictured above) in gsEvents. Registration to claim t-shirts opens in gsEvents on FRIDAY, MAY 8, at 6:00 AM and will close once all t-shirts have been claimed. T-shirts are limited to 700 girl MY27 members and 400 MY27 adult members. Renewal t-shirts are first come, first served; once they are gone, they are gone. Need help in claiming a t-shirt? FREE Troop Co-Leader & Product Program Manager Memberships toggle arrow

Early Bird Membership Renewal is CLOSED (June 30).

Each troop co-leader or product program manager who was eligible for free membership renewal was renewed by council staff. If a troop co-leader or product program manager is not showing as renewed for MY27, and was deemed eligible for free renewal, please reach out to your Customer Care Team at info@gsvsc.org.

For current volunteers to be eligible for free MY27 membership renewal, adults MUST have held a troop co-leader role and/or product program manager role for MY26 (current year), completed all required training for the position, and have the correct role assignment in MYGS account. Free membership renewal is the renewal of current adult volunteers who successfully carried out the role and are committing to continue in the role next year.

If a girl member was to receive free membership through participation in the cookie program, but a free membership renewal discount is not showing in the cart at the time of checkout, please contact your Customer Care Team at info@gsvsc.org.

For Families: How to Renew Yourself or Your Family toggle arrow

Log into MyGS. You’ll need the email address and password you used to sign up for Girl Scouts. If you need help accessing your account, reach out—we’re happy to help!
Returning to the same troop and/or volunteer role?
- Once you’ve logged into your account, click the “Renew Now” button to renew all members of your household.
- Review your cart, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and click the “Add Payment Details” button .
- Enter your credit card information for payment and submit. Note: Some Girl Scout councils offer financial assistance or allow Girl Scouts to renew their membership with program credits. Connect with your  local Girl Scout council to learn more.
- You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your membership renewal(s).
Not returning to the same troop or volunteer role?
- Click/tap on “My Household” in the left hand menu. 
- Check the “Select All” boxes or indicate the girls and adults in your household who you’d like to renew.
- Check the “Not Returning” box next to the troops or roles you’re not continuing with this year.
- You can continue to renew without choosing a new troop. Contact us to connect with a new opportunity in your area.
- Click “Add Renewal.”
- Confirm that the details for your household members are correct. Then, choose the membership year and select your desired payment type.
- Some Girl Scout councils offer financial assistance or allow Girl Scouts to renew their membership with program credits. Connect with your  local Girl Scout council to learn more.
- Review your cart, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and click the “Add Payment Details” button .
- Enter your credit card information for payment and submit.
- You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your membership renewal(s).

For Troop Leaders: How to Renew Your Troop toggle arrow

Log into MyGS. You’ll need the email address and password you used to sign up for Girl Scouts. If you need help accessing your account, reach out—we’re happy to help!
Once you’ve logged into your account, click the “Renew Now” button to renew all members of your troop.
Review your cart and make any adjustments needed, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and click the “Add Payment Details button.
Enter your credit card information for payment and submit.
You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your troop renewal(s).
