Girl Scout Camp Experiences

Camp Adventurers is an older girl weekend camp open to girls ages 11-18. This camp offers older girls the opportunity to attend camp; not work at camp. Girls will complete the STEM van space science program, as well as an adventure activity, tomahawk throwing, archery, and more. The girls will have the option to participate in one of two adventures: kayaking on the New River or taking on a challenge course!
Cave Hill Day Camp is a summer day camp for younger Girl Scouts. It is held at Grand Caverns in Grottoes. It is a camp program designed to give girls a positive and fun experience in the great outdoors. Under the guidance of trained and enthusiastic volunteers, this camp provides a variety of Girl Scout programs like archery, crafts, games, nature study, outdoor cooking, hiking, a one-night overnight camp-out, and lots more! Our Summer Camp Leadership Training allows older girls to help at camp.
Camp Sacajawea is a summer camp located in Lynchburg, Virginia. Girls will experience outdoor camping skills while spending lots of time in the creek, at the Dot, also known as the spash pad, and at the archery range.  Girls will work on the outdoor progression patches which teach them everything from survival skills and camp cooking to traditional fire circle songs and camp games. 
Campfire Sisters is a weekend camp for older girls in rising 7th-12th grades. Located at Singers Glen (Rockingham Co.), Virginia. Join your Girl Scout sister for an amazing weekend packed full of a series pf puzzles and challenges. You will be racing across the globe completing challenges from the kitchen to the outdoors!
Dark Hollow Day Camp is a summer camp located at Icimani Adventure Center in Roanoke, Virginia. Girls rising 1st and 2nd graders (Darling Daisies) attend a one week session while rising 3rd to 10th grade can attend the two week session. Girls get to experience crafts, games, Girl Scout songs, hikes, creek walks, cooking, and making new friends. Girls will earn a camp patch and most units earn a badge. But more importantly, girls will make new friends, learn how to live in nature, become stronger,  learn teamwork, and more surprises.    

Friendly Hollow Day Camp is an in-person and virtual summer camp in Montgomery, Virginia. Girls in rising 1st through 12th grade will experience an amazing week of outdoor fun. In addition to the pure enjoyment of our natural outdoor environment, girls will play games, hike, learn outdoor skills, and learn to cook on and sing around an inviting campfire! Girls will have a BLAST learning new outdoor skills with new friends and catching up with old friends!

Friendly Hollow's Virtual Day camp follows Chloe (doll) as she experiences camp with Girl Scout traditions, songs, crafts, camp skills, and a virtual camp tour. 

Rainbow's End is a weekend summer camp located in Pembroke (Giles Co.), Virginia. Girls experince the outdoors and get adventurous with hiking, camping, archery, and outdoor adventure! Camp includes Girl Scout traditions such as sing-alongs, campfires, and s’mores. Cook outside, practice archery, make crafts, hike the nature trail, camp in tents, identify poison ivy, play outside, and earn badges.
Singing Cedars is a summer camp for girls from 1st grade to 12th grade. Located at Hillandale Park in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Each year the camp celebrates with a fun theme. This past summer was Medieval Merriment and girls got to fight off dragons, make marshmallow catapults, play games popular during the renaissance times, take aim at the archery range, and listen to fables and legends. The week would not be complete without a visit from a Knight, and a Royal Feast.  
Sugar Hollow Day Camp is a camp located in Crozet, Virginia with year round events. Their summer camp traditions include wading in the creek, enjoying nature, tie-dye camp shirts, hike our beautiful hills, sing around the campfire, and learn outdoor skills as we make new friends at camp. On-site activities will include archery for girls going into grades 4 through 7. In addition, the rising 7th grade Cadette unit may have one day of off-site activity, such as kayaking.
Trefoil Academy of Magery and Sorcery is a choose-your-own-adventure in a resedent setting. Girls ages 8-17 are invited to attend. Campers develop and act as their character in a 360 degree immersive fantasy-based world. Their actions and decisions throughout the week impact the world around as well as the story to be told in future years. We go on adventures with our imagination and basic math. Our location varies year to year. We have been located at Camp Icimani and this past year we were located at Camp Goodwill in Dumfries, Virginia. Check back for new details.
