2025 Camp Theme: Tales from the Campfire!
Our camp
has called Camp Sugar Hollow home since 1959. Since then, thousands of
girls have grown up at our camp. We believe in fostering growth,
independence, and leadership through outdoor adventures. We learn how
to respect nature and love Girl Scouting by building skills in health
& safety, camp songs, tie-dye, knots, tools, fire building, and
outdoor cooking.
Our rising fourth graders and up learn archery, and our rising seventh graders learn how to kayak (Our Cadette Unit will kayak on Tuesday of both sessions). Girl Scouts in rising first grade through rising seventh grade are campers. Girls are grouped in units according to their rising grade level. Each camper will earn a patch from the GSVSC Summer Camp Progression program and a badge specific to each year’s camp theme.
Join us for a week of finding our own stories and telling them while we learn outdoor skills. At camp, we tell stories in many ways --- through campfire skits, songs, art projects, and writing, and if we pay attention we find all sorts of stories in nature, too!

to use resources wisely. If not enough campers ride the bus, then bus
service will be cancelled. It is very important for families to make
carpooling arrangements to/from camp or bus stops prior to
