ISO: Volunteer Service Unit Recruitment Coverage
Are you taking the lead on hosting Girl Scout membership event efforts in your service unit for back-to-school, community festivals, and Try-It Out with Girl Scouts events? Your CEM needs to know so please sign-up HERE (submit one form per recruitment event).

If you don’t have a Girl Scout event in your area and want to host one, please reach out to your community engagement manager.
While supplies last, girl recruitment helpers receive FREE “Professional Friend Maker” decals and adult volunteers helpers receive a decal and a GSVSC-branded water bottle sling. NOTE: decals and water bottles giveaway items are limited to two adult volunteers and five girl helpers (all grade-levels welcomed) per event.

To protect our members, we have developed specific social media guidelines for Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline volunteers to use.

Be Sensitive About Privacy
- Only use first names for youth in posts. If you have more than one girl with the same first name, the last initial can be used. Example: Juliette L.
- Never post last names, phone numbers, addresses, or email addresses.
- Get photo permission before posting pictures of youth.
- Do not violate copyright laws. Do not use any images without permission.
