2025 Camp Theme: Everything is Fine in the Woods

Climb towards new heights at Friendly Hollow Day Camp. Camp is the place for fun! Campers will play games, do crafts, hike, learn outdoor skills, learn to cook outdoors, swim, and sing around a campfire. Campers are grouped into units based on their rising grade levels. Each camper will earn a special patch from the GSVSC Summer Camp Progression Program plus our one-of-a-kind Friendly Hollow Day Camp patch and t-shirt.

An overnight adventure is part of the fun! (This is optional for campers that are not yet ready.) This overnight adventure begins on Friday, August 1 and concludes on Saturday, August 2, at 11:00 AM.

In person camp and our virtual camp, Friendly Hollow Virtual Camp, have different activities. Campers are encouraged to participate in both. Check-out our virtual camp here.

Summer Camp Financial Assistance
Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council awards financial assistance in increments of 25%, 50%, and 75% of the summer camp registration fee; for one summer camp session per year, per camper. It is the responsibility of the caregiver to ensure the remaining camp registration fees are PAID IN FULL by the camp registration close date. The camper must first register for her summer camp of choice and pay the required $10 deposit before submitting this application. MORE INFO HERE
