Friendly Hollow Virtual Camp (CANCELED)

Date: Mon Jul 21 2025 - Fri Jul 25 2025

CAMP CANCELED: due to unforeseen volunteer staffing issues; if you are interested in volunteering for this camp in 2026, please reach out to the council at info@gsvsc.org

2025 Camp Theme: Everything is Fine in the Woods

Campers are invited to virtually come along with Chloe, the Girl Scout Junior doll, as she returns to Friendly Hollow Day Camp this summer where “Everything is Fine in the Woods.” Campers will experience camp from Chloe’s point-of-view as they have fun with Chloe singing songs, making camp crafts, practicing camp skills, and enjoying other Girl Scout traditions. Campers will feel they’re right there camping with Chloe through prerecorded videos, live events, and even other special activities only available through a private Google Drive.

A schedule is provided each day to guide campers through the camp day. Campers will be sent email invitations with links to the program activities throughout the camp week. Also participants receive additional program information after registration closes. Campers will receive our one-of-a-kind Friendly Hollow Day Camp patch and t-shirt.

For campers throughout the Continental US. Friendly Hollow Day Camp uses a combination of new and up-cycled items for camp activities. This Camp-in-a-Box box has all of the new materials that each camper needs for camp crafts and activities. A scavenger hunt activity for collecting the up-cycled materials each camper needs is included. A few surprise bonus crafts from past camp activities are also included. Campers will get a sneak peek of camp through these bonus crafts they can complete before camp starts. Campers will follow along with the instructions for the bonus crafts on Friendly Hollow Day Camp’s YouTube Channel.

All materials in the Camp-in-a-Box are separated and labeled so campers know which activities go on which day. The bonus crafts are clearly labeled, so campers know which activities they can start on as soon as they receive their box. We recommend 1 box per camper. Activity instructions are provided through Friendly Hollow Day Camp’s YouTube Channel. Enough new materials to complete each activity once are included in each Camp-in-a-Box. The instructional YouTube videos give a supply list for when campers decided they want to do a craft again.

Can’t wait for camp to start? Join us now on our Friendly Hollow Day Camp YouTube Channel.

Virtual camp and our in-person camp, Friendly Hollow Day Camp, have different activities. Campers are encouraged to participate in both. Check-out our in-peson camp here.
