String of Pearls 2019
May 4 from 1–4 p.m.
Join us in celebrating the achievements of our girls during the 2019
Girl Scout Cookie Program at our annual String of Pearls Party! This
special party honors Girl Scouts who sold 1,000+ boxes of cookies
during our recent cookie season.
This celebratory event includes a red carpet entrance for our celebrity Girl Scouts with lots of party snacks, sweets and beverages. We'll also have a DJ spinning your fave tunes to dance to as well as a photo booth, cookie trivia, a keynote speaker and induction of girls into the String of Pearls (each girl who sold 1,000+ boxes of cookies receives a one pearl necklace; in honor of Girl Scout founder Juliette Low who sold her own pearl necklace in order to finance the very beginnings of Girl Scouting).
Girls, their families, their troopmates and friends of Girl Scouting are invited to attend.

GSVSC is proud to announce a partnership with R.M. Johnson & Sons
Jewelers in Salem, Virginia for the introduction of new pearl
necklaces for our String of Pearls!
Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council has enlisted the help of a local jeweler to enhance the String of Pearls experience! Each girl will receive a 7mm round freshwater pearl on an 18" sterling silver cable chain. Pearls will slide on their chain and can easily be added by your local jeweler from year to year! We're excited to watch your 'string of pearls' grow with each and every cookie season!
