The weekend of September 11-13, Girl Scouts Love State Parks is being celebrated by councils across the country. Through this event, Girl Scouts will experience the great outdoors in planned engagements just for Girl Scouts hosted by state parks. Virginia State Parks events can be found below and HERE. Girls who participate are eligible to purchase the national patch ($2.00; worn on back of vest/sash).
ALSO you can earn a FREE patch from our very own Virginia State Parks by participating in any ranger-led/volunteer-led program or stewardship opportunity or by completing an age-appropriate activity within this FREE Girl Scouts Love VA State Parks Self-Guided Patch & Badge Program booklet.
ALSO FREE parking at our state parks when displaying the cover page of the program booklet.
