Join us for the sweetest race in the Roanoke Valley! This annual
event supports Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council and we are
excited to challenge participants again on the cross-country course at
Greenfield Recreation Park in Botetourt County. 2027 RACE COOKIE

- Race course map is here.
- T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after DATE TBA.
- 5K participation medals are only guaranteed to the first 250 registrants.
- Fun Run medals are only guaranteed to the first 100 registrants.
- Patches and cinch sacs are only guaranteed to the first 300 registrants.
- No onsite registration day of race.
- Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age division (5K in-person participants only).
- The top 3 overall 5K in-person finishers will also receive a case of their favorite Girl Scout Cookies.

Are you ready to lace up,
level up, and explore more? Introducing the Conquering
the Cookie Runs Series — a double-dose of fun, fitness, and friendship
featuring two of our favorite Virginia Girl Scout races: the Cookie Classic and
the Tough Cookie Challenge! It’s
the perfect way to explore more (just like our newest cookie, the
Exploremores!) while celebrating your strength, spirit, and the
sisterhood of Girl Scouting.
Here’s how it works: If you
participate in-person at both events, you’ll earn an EXTRA-special
“Conquering the Cookie” pin — plus ultimate Bragging Rights for taking
on the challenge! To join the series:
- Register for each race (at any distance).
- Add on the $5 Conquering the Cookie fee (via Cookie Classic registration).
- Crush both races and claim your limited-edition pin at the Tough Cookie finish line!
