The 2026 Wild Women's & Men's Weekend will take place at Girl Scout Camp Icimani in Roanoke, just 15 minutes off of I-81. This year's theme is "A Wild Wellness Weekend" = our very own prescription for Vitamin Nature! Plus we'll be celebrating our 40th Anniversary!!
Spend a fun-filled weekend training to become an Adventurers Coordinator! Newcomers will complete council Event Training and will join the returning coordinators for Adventurers training, including going through the steps to plan an actual event. Newcomers must complete the online council Trip Training via gsLearn before the weekend.
Weekend highlights will include:
- 🌟 new coordinators trainings
- 💜 spending time with sister Girl Scouts
- 🧘♀️ wellness-related activities like crafting lip balms & sugar scrubs, chair yoga, forest bathing hikes, mental wellness speaker, ice cream bar, and more!
- 🏅 Adventurers annual banquet and awards
- 🥳 games & fun to celebrate our 40th Anniversary
- 🍸 Happy Hour with a mixology class by Jayson Hudson plus PJ Party Time (awards for best loungewear & slippers)
- 📚 annual silent auction and book sale to raise funds for girl scholarships
- 🍽️ 5 delicious, nutritious meals on Saturday and Sunday
- 🛏️ accommodations include a large gym for inside lodging with locker room-style bathrooms or you can tent/hammock camp outside on the covered porches or in the field
This training weekend is so fun and popular that many people attend
year after year.

ABOUT THE ADVENTURERS HERE
Adventurers is an
action-oriented group of older Girl Scouts who are seeking exciting
activities to challenge their capabilities, broaden their horizons,
and increase their self-confidence. It is for girls ages 11-17 and in
grades 6-12. Members often participate in rock climbing, caving,
kayaking, backpacking, travel, hiking and other similar high-adventure
