Do you want to find out what scuba diving is like? Join the Adventurers for a PADI Discover Scuba® Diving experience and you can try scuba diving for the first time in a local pool.
A highly-trained PADI® Professional will provide scuba gear, explain basic scuba diving skills, and answer any questions you may have. In a very short time, you’ll learn basic scuba skills and take your first breaths underwater.
This course does require a 30-minute online eLearning course that participants must complete beforehand.

Fee: $90
Min/Max Girls: 4/12 participants
Patch included: no; girls may purchase additional Adventurers merchandise (patch, decals, bandanna, ballcap, performance t-shirts); details listed on the event registration.

Adventurers Scholarship
Through the generosity of donors, a scholarship fund has been established in honor of our group’s founder, Barbara Duerk, to help girls participate in Adventurers activities. Requests may not be more than $100/year, and each application will be considered on a case by case basis. Details, criteria and application for this scholarship fund can be found here. Please submit scholarship applications one week before the program's registration close date. Have questions? Adventurers is an action-oriented group of older Girl Scouts who are seeking exciting activities to challenge their capabilities, broaden their horizons, and increase their self-confidence. It is for girls ages 11-17 and in grades 6-12. Members often participate in rock climbing, caving, kayaking, backpacking, travel, hiking and other similar high-adventure activities.
