Join us for a one-night backpacking experience at the Blue Ridge Scout Reservation in Pulaski County. Participants will hike at the 16,000-acre Scout Reservation to a backcountry campsite for the evening. This trip is open to beginner and experienced backpackers and is a great trip for those interested in High Knoll.
Backpacks, tents, stoves, and other equipment are provided; making
this an economical way to discover the joys of backpacking. A
mandatory pre-planning session will be held with the Adventurers
beforehand (March 22 or 29). The time and place for this meeting will

Adventurers Scholarship
Through the generosity of donors, a scholarship fund has been
established in honor of our group’s founder, Barbara Duerk, to help
girls participate in Adventurers activities. Requests may not be more
than $100/year, and each application will be considered on a case by
case basis. Details,
criteria and application for this scholarship fund can be found
here. Please submit scholarship applications one week before the
program's registration close date. Have questions? Reach out to this
program's coordinator listed here or directly to The Adventurers: adventurers1912@gmail.com
