Senior or Ambassador Girl Scouts, are you ready to learn the skills needed to become a camp counselor and earn your Counselor-In-Training Awards?

What does a Counselor in Training do?  As a Senior and Ambassador Girl Scout, you will team up with other teens to learn how to connect with campers, shadow and support camp staff, and take the lead on songs, games, and group activities. You'll build real leadership skills, make a lasting impact, and become the role model younger campers look up to-all while having a blast at camp.

This leadership course is required for Senior or Ambassador Girl Scouts (currently in 9th -12th grade) who wish to learn how to lead younger girls in a camp setting at any Virginia Skyline Summer Camp and earn their CIT I or CIT II Awards. Additional camp-specific training is required before working with younger girls in a camp setting.  Girls must be in their 9th grade year of high school to complete this CIT leadership course and complete 9th grade before being a CIT at a GSVSC campGirls must be registered by the deadline to attend! * Girls must participate in the entire course to be a CIT at camp.  ENSURE TO READ IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS BELOW - CLICK ON READ MORE!
