Get ready for Exploremore: Artventure on August 2nd! This day program for Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors is centered around connecting with the natural world through art activities, collaborative projects, and creative expression at Camp Sugar Hollow!
Activities include sun painting, leaf and bark rubbings, and nature impressions that capture the textures and beauty of the outdoors. Girls will explore light and color with a watercolor "painting" and work together to create a collaborative shadow drawing. Lastly, we'll enjoy a short hike around camp by participating in a nature color scavenger hunt. By the end of the day, Girl Scouts will have earned either the Outdoor Art Maker badge (Daisies), Outdoor Art Creator (Brownies), and the Outdoor Art Explorer badge (Juniors).
Girls can also take part in the Exploremore Virginia Passport program by completing activities and experiences centered around art, food, and Virginia history.
