Friendsgiving Day: Outdoor Cooking Fun w/Friends!
Spend the day with your old and new Adventurers friends
learning and using different methods for outdoor cooking. We will cook
an entire Thanksgiving meal from start to finish all outside. Once the
meals are done, we will combine all the foods created by the other
groups and have one big feast. It will be a great time to start the
holiday season!

Adventurers Scholarship
Through the generosity of donors, a scholarship fund has been
established in honor of our group’s founder, Barbara Duerk, to help
girls participate in Adventurers activities. Requests may not be more
than $100/year, and each application will be considered on a case by
case basis. Details,
criteria and application for this scholarship fund can be found
here. Please submit scholarship applications one week before the

ABOUT THE ADVENTURERS HERE
Adventurers is an
action-oriented group of older Girl Scouts who are seeking exciting
activities to challenge their capabilities, broaden their horizons,
and increase their self-confidence. It is for girls ages 11-17 and in
grades 6-12. Members often participate in rock climbing, caving,
kayaking, backpacking, travel, hiking and other similar high-adventure
