Fun, Mud, & Cave 2023
Head underground to explore the limestone caves of the Shenandoah Valley. Be prepared to learn, have some fun, and GET MUDDY! For this experience, we will be exploring one of the region's many wild caves. Participants will learn about cave formation, preservation, exploration, and ecology.

Location: Glade Cave, Augusta Co.
Who: Juniors - Ambassadors (11-18 years old)
Fee: $60.00/participant
Min/Max Girls: 5/10 participants
Registration Closes: October 23
Patch included: no; optional Adventurers patch available for $2; optional Adventurers performance t-shirts for $15 (short-sleeve) or $20 (long-sleeve); optional previous t-shirts for $12 (short-sleeve); optional Adventurers bandanna for $5 (please indicate items and sizes on registration).

Adventurers Scholarship
Through the generosity of donors, a scholarship fund has been established in honor of our group’s founder, Barbara Duerk, to help girls participate in Adventurers activities. Requests may not be more than $100/year, and each application will be considered on a case by case basis. Details, criteria and application for this scholarship fund can be found here . Adventurers is an action-oriented group of older Girl Scouts who are seeking exciting activities to challenge their capabilities, broaden their horizons, and increase their self-confidence. It is for girls age 11-17 and in grades 6-12. Members often participate in rock climbing, caving, kayaking, backpacking, travel, hiking and other similar high-adventure activities.
