Explore the Camps
Camping is a great way for girls to explore leadership, build skills, and develop a deep appreciation for nature. Whether they go for a day, week, or longer, Girl Scout camp gives girls an opportunity to grow, explore, and have fun under the guidance of caring, trained adults. Every girl deserves a chance to camp! Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline offers a wide range of outdoor activities and camps from day programs to week-long overnights. There is an adventure for every girl!
Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline operates three camps/program centers for troop camping and outdoor programming:
Icimani, Roanoke County
Camp Sacajawea, Bedford County
Camp Sugar Hollow, Albemarle County
Each site offers a unique opportunity for exploration, education and an exciting camp experience. The camps are open year-round. In addition, summer camping programs are conducted at all sites.
