Spend an exciting day with the Adventurers and Aquatrek Adventures
learning the basics of scuba diving through the SSI Try Scuba program.
Aquatrek will fit you with gear and teach you safety and how to use
the equipment. Girls will get in the indoor pool with scuba gear and
practice underwater breathing and a few basic skills. There will be 4
sessions with 8 girls per session. Please indicate your first and
second choices on the registration. We can't guarantee a specific
session and will fill the early sessions first. This is a great way to
see if you would like to train to become a certified diver.

Adventurers Scholarship
Through the generosity of donors, a scholarship fund has been
established in honor of our group’s founder, Barbara Duerk, to help
girls participate in Adventurers activities. Requests may not be more
than $100/year, and each application will be considered on a case by
case basis. Details,
criteria and application for this scholarship fund can be found
here. Please submit scholarship applications one week before the

ABOUT THE ADVENTURERS HERE
Adventurers is an
action-oriented group of older Girl Scouts who are seeking exciting
activities to challenge their capabilities, broaden their horizons,
and increase their self-confidence. It is for girls ages 11-17 and in
grades 6-12. Members often participate in rock climbing, caving,
kayaking, backpacking, travel, hiking and other similar high-adventure
