Join the VA Skyline Adventurers to learn about cave formation,
preservation, exploration, and ecology on a 4-hour wild caving tour of
Windy Cove Cave in Bath County, VA. It is rumored that George
Washington carved his initials into a boulder near the cave entrance,
though this is not definitively confirmed. It is a limestone cave
known for features like sinkholes, a stream, and springs. Participants
will be provided with helmets with lights and batteries, coveralls,
back-up lights, and candles.
