Come learn all about disc golf with the Blue Ridge Disc Golf Club at
Walnut Creek Park. First thing up, a skills clinic where you can learn
or refine your disc golf skills. After a break to use the bathroom and
eat a home-packed snack, you'll explore nine holes of the course
practicing your new skills.

Adventurers Scholarship
Through the generosity of donors, a scholarship fund has been established in honor of our group’s founder, Barbara Duerk, to help girls participate in Adventurers activities. Requests may not be more than $100/year, and each application will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Details, criteria and application for this scholarship fund can be found here . LEARN ABOUT THE ADVENTURERS HERE
Adventurers is an action-oriented group of older Girl Scouts who are seeking exciting activities to challenge their capabilities, broaden their horizons, and increase their self-confidence. It is for girls ages 11-17 and in grades 6-12. Members often participate in rock climbing, caving, kayaking, backpacking, travel, hiking and other similar high-adventure activities.
