Get ready for a summer filled with London's charm, Scotland's lushness,
and Ireland's beauty! Travel to Pax Lodge
, a World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts World Centre,
located in London, England. Join
in a five day summer event
for girls to discover London with other members of Girl Guides and Girl
Scouts, learn ways to have a positive impact on a community, and
celebrate the international spirit of the movement in the city where it
all began. Pax Lodge is ideally located in the northwest London suburb
of Hampstead. Just a few short stops from the hustle and bustle of
central London.
Destinations beyond await the group as we plan further travel sites for this trip: Ireland and Scotland! This trip will last 14-16 days dependent on the choices made by the travel group. The travel group will fundraise together in order to cover trip expenses. PLUS, you can apply for a $100 Adventurers Scholarship .
Tentative Dates: late June to early July 2026 (14-16 days)
Location: England, Ireland and Scotland; sites to visit chosen by the travel group
Girls' Ages: must be 14 years old by June 2025
Cost: $5,000 (estimated; cost dependent upon destinations & activities the girls choose); after the girl is notified they are chosen, a non-refundable $200 deposit will be required to hold her spot (which goes towards your overall trip cost)
Max: 10 girls; 3 adult trip leaders

Adventurers Scholarship
Through the generosity of donors, a scholarship fund has been established in honor of our group’s founder, Barbara Duerk, to help girls participate in Adventurers activities. Requests may not be more than $100/year, and each application will be considered on a case by case basis. Details, criteria and application for this scholarship fund can be found here . Please submit scholarship applications one week before the program's registration close date. Have questions? Adventurers is an action-oriented group of older Girl Scouts who are seeking exciting activities to challenge their capabilities, broaden their horizons, and increase their self-confidence. It is for girls ages 11-17 and in grades 6-12. Members often participate in rock climbing, caving, kayaking, backpacking, travel, hiking and other similar high-adventure activities.
