CANCELED DUE TO LOW REGISTRATIONS
It's time to ROCK! Adventurers is planning an exciting challenge of
rappelling and rock climbing in Bozoo, West Virginia. We will meet at
Virginia Tech's Venture Out facility in Blacksburg, VA, for a ride to
the climbing site about an hour away. VT-Venture Out will provide all
the gear, snacks, and lunch. No climbing experience or gear is
necessary to participate. NOTE: a Girl Scout's torso circumference at
belly button must be a minimum of 29” for the vendor gear to
fit.

Adventurers Scholarship
Through the generosity of donors, a scholarship fund has been
established in honor of our group’s founder, Barbara Duerk, to help
girls participate in Adventurers activities. Requests may not be more
than $100/year, and each application will be considered on a case by
case basis. Details,
criteria and application for this scholarship fund can be found
here . Please submit scholarship applications one week before the

ABOUT THE ADVENTURERS HERE
Adventurers is an
action-oriented group of older Girl Scouts who are seeking exciting
activities to challenge their capabilities, broaden their horizons,
and increase their self-confidence. It is for girls age 11-17 and in
grades 6-12. Members often participate in rock climbing, caving,
kayaking, backpacking, travel, hiking and other similar high-adventure
