Welcome to the Girl Scout Bronze Award, a leadership adventure for more than half a million Girl Scout Juniors across the country and around the world. This Bronze Award Workshop is required for Junior Girl Scouts and their troop leader or adult advisor prior to beginning their steps to earning their Bronze Award. This course may be taken after girls complete the Junior Journey requirements, but is required prior to selecting a Bronze Award Project.
This workshop outlines the requirements and guidelines needed to help Juniors through the six steps to earning their Bronze Award ---including how to identify issues girls' care about, build a Girl Scout Bronze Award team, explore their communities, identify the difference between a community service and take action project, develop a project plan to create a lasting impact, and put it in motion while they develop their leadership skills, as well as the importance of reflecting, sharing, and celebrating! Imagine what girls can accomplish when they team up with others and use their special skills and interests to take action and make a difference in the world!
Participants must be registered by the registration deadline in order to participate in workshop! If you do not see an available spot for girls, REGISTRATION IS FULL.

Length of Course: This is a two-hour virtual course.
- Junior Girl Scouts are required to participate in the 1-hour overview of the six steps to earning their Bronze Award.
- Troop leaders or adult advisors are required to participate for the entire course, which includes best practices for building consensus, supporting girls as they brainstorm project ideas, creating a project plan, financing the project, required reports, available resources, and more!
Handouts: Zoom link and training handouts will be emailed to participants and will be added to gsEvent dashboard for download after registration closes. Once registration is complete, the Troop Leader or parent/guardian may log into their My GS account to download 'Additional Documentation' from the 'My Events Dashboard.'
