Silver Award Workshop!
Have you ever looked around your neighborhood or school and
wondered how you could make a change for the better? This Silver Award
Workshop is required for all Cadette Girl Scouts wanting to earn the
Silver Award, which is the highest award a Girl Scout Cadette can
earn. "Read More" for important workshop
details and resources.
The Silver Award Workshop is to be completed before beginning the
steps to earning the Silver Award but may be taken after the girls
complete the Journey requirements. This workshop is to help guide
girls and their Silver Award advisors through their steps to earning
the Silver Award ---including how to identify a community issue girls'
care about, build their Girl Scout Silver Award team or decide to go
solo, research and explore their communities to develop a sustainable
solution and put a plan in motion using leadership skills as they lead
their team to solve a real community issue, as well as reflecting,
sharing, and celebrating!
Girls may not begin their Silver Award project until their
receive council approval of their Silver Award Proposal.

Approximately 11:30 am. Additional 1 hour has been
added to give girls time to brainstorm project ideas.

Important Workshop Instructions:
- Participants must be registered through gsEvents by the deadline in order to participate in this workshop

Girls must attend the entire Silver Award workshop in order to receive credit. Girl's participation in this workshop will be verified before the Silver Award Final reports can be approved by the council.
- Girls are to be accompanied by their troop co-leader, a parent/guardian, and/or Adult Silver Award Team advisor for the entire workshop. Adults should plan to participant in the entire workshop.
- If you do not see girl spots available, REGISTRATION IS FULL.
- We are unable to take last minute requests to join this workshop. Please register by the deadline.
- Participants will receive a printed workshop guide* at the workshop.
- Upon completing registration, the workshop guide is available for download and printing through the gsEvent dashboard. See instructions below

After registration, a parent/guardian or troop leader can log into their MY GS account to download important forms to be printed prior to the workshop.

Steps to verify who is registered:
- Login into your MY GS account - Click on My Account next to Logout
- Click on My Events Dashboard below the green Trefoil to view upcoming events
- Registered participants will be listed in the box below the name of the course: Virtual Silver Award Workshop-09-20-2025
- If a name is not listed in the box, you can verify registered attendees by clicking on the household or troop options at the bottom on the Silver Award Workshop gsEvents page or download your confirmation receipt
