Calling all spooky sisters! Join us for Girls & Ghouls, a frightfully fun overnight experience just for Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors at Camp Sugar Hollow, starting at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 25 and ending at 11:00 AM on Sunday, October 26. This event is packed with Halloween fun-from pumpkin painting and monster-themed crafts to a build-your-own popcorn bar and a mystery scavenger hunt featuring friendly ghosts, werewolves, vampires, and other not-so-scary creatures. Go wild at the popcorn bar and dance the night away at our glow-in-the-dark dance party under the stars!

 

Don't forget your costume for trick or treating the following morning - we can't wait to see you there!

Supervision Requirements: NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Girls must attend with either a troop co-leader or a caregiver. Trip Permission Form and Outdoor Education Required if staying overnight!

 

Food/Drink/Refreshments:

Saturday: Bring your own dinner.

Breakfast: A light breakfast will be provided on Sunday morning.

Reminder: Bring a water bottle to stay refreshed!

 

Sleeping Accommodations:

Participants can choose from platform tents (30 spots available) Running Creek or bring their own tents (45 spots available). Sleeping Units will be assigned by staff after the event closes. 

 

Notes:

Outdoor Education: One adult per troop must have completed Outdoor Education training by the registration deadline of September 28th, 2025. Trip Permission forms and Health History forms must be completed for all participants.

Event Structure: This is a member-only, non-drop-in event. Parents or troop leaders must stay on-site to meet safety ratios. Please do not drop off your Girl Scouts.

Member-Only Event: This is a member-only event. Supplies will be provided only for registered participants. Please make other arrangements for siblings as tag-alongs cannot attend. Adults must register and stay on-site for supervision.

Camping Preparations: Prepare for camping. Only troops with an Outdoor Education-trained adult may use the campfire for cooking, and spend the night. Limited refrigerator storage will be available. Lunch is not provided either day. Troops must have a separate First Aider in addition to an Outdoor Education-trained adult. 

 

After registration, a parent/guardian or troop leader can log into their  MY GS account  to download important forms to be printed prior to this event.
