Sat May 28, 10:00 AM - Mon May 30, 5:00 PM
Category:
Adventurers

Join us for a unique two night experience backpacking at False Cape State Park which is nestled between Back Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. It is one of the last remaining undeveloped areas along the Atlantic coast. As the former home of Native Americans, the historic Wash Woods community and Little Island Coast Guard Station, False Cape honors the hardy souls who made a living from the sea. The park offers an opportunity to experience nature in a unique, primitive setting. The park is accessible only by foot, bicycle, beach transport, tram, or boat. This will involve backpacking about 7-8 miles each day so participants need to be in good physical shape to do such.

Date/Time: Saturday, May 28, 10:00 AM, TO Monday, May 30, 5:00 PM (Memorial Day Weekend)
