Super Sitter Training
Juniors and Cadettes will earn their American Red Cross Babysitter and First Aid certification in a weekend per the instruction of Devon Serrano, the director of athletic training for Sweet Briar College. Girls will enjoy an overnight experience at Camp Sacajawea. By the end of the weekend, each girl will be equipped to set forth on her babysitting entrepreneurial journey in her community. In addition, Juniors will earn their First Aid badge and Cadettes will earn their First Aid and Babysitter badges.
TIME COMMITMENT ON EACH DAY
Saturday, June 1: 10 AM-8 PM
Sunday, June 2: 8 AM-2 PM
Participants may attend as individuals with a guardian/parent/adult or with troops that provide the appropriate number of leaders and adult chaperones needed to meet the girl-to-adult ratios for their age level. Guardian/parent/adult chaperones are required to stay during the entire program. Adults staying overnight MUST have a current Girl Scout membership and a current criminal back ground check.

Participants are responsible for providing and preparing meals for themselves and chaperones. Participants will need to communicate prior to session to determine food needs.
Girls will need to complete the following online prerequisite courses before coming to camp:
