Gold Award Workshop

This Gold Award Workshop is required for all Girl Scouts wanting to earn their Gold Award, which is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn. This workshop is designed to help guide advisors and girls through the seven steps and gives additional information about developing a plan and a project, and how to complete the Gold Award proposal application process.

Girls can pursue the Girl Scout Gold Award if:

>> They're in high school (ninth through twelfth grade, or equivalent).

>> They're registered as a Girl Scout Senior or Girl Scout Ambassador.

>> They've completed two Senior or Ambassador Journeys OR earned the Girl Scout Silver Award and completed a Senior or Ambassador Journey.

Note: If girls cannot be accompanied by a parent or troop leader, they need to bring a permission slip and health history form.
Length of Course: This is approximately a two-hour course. Instructor will stay an additional 30 minutes after course to answer participant questions.
