POSTPONED: postponed until Spring due to COVID restrictions and limited services available from Massanutten Resort. Watch for details on a new date after the first of the year.
Enjoy a day of fun adventure starting with a canopy tour as you journey through the forest where you will take on four bridges, hanging vines, and six zip lines ranging from 90’-470’ long. After the canopy tour we'll have lunch, and then take a meandering hike to Kaylor's Knob, with breathtaking views along a 3-mile trek.
Participants may attend as individuals only.
Date/Time: Saturday, October 3, 8:45 AM-2:15 PM
Location: Massanutten Resort's Family Adventure Park, McGaheysville
Girl's Ages: Juniors (must be 11+ years old or higher) - Ambassadors; girls must weight between 70 to 250 lbs. (NO EXCEPTIONS for the canopy tour)
Girl Cost: $45
Min/Max: 6/14 girls
Badge/Patch Included: no; optional Adventurers patch available for $2; optional NEW Adventurers performance t-shirts for $12 (short-sleeve) or $15 (long-sleeve); optional previous t-shirts for $10 (short-sleeve); optional Adventurers bandanna for $5 (please indicate items and sizes on registration).

Note: For safety reasons, it is required that you wear hiking boots or sneakers; wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty; no rings, necklaces, or bracelets (all jewelry is discouraged); no skirts or loose clothing; shorts mid-thigh or longer or long pants are encouraged.
Through the generosity of donors, a scholarship fund has been established in honor of our group’s founder, Barbara Duerk, to help girls participate in Adventurers activities. The fund is of limited availability and each application will be considered on a case by case basis. Details, criteria and application for this scholarship fund can be found here. Adventurers is an action-oriented group of older Girl Scouts who are seeking exciting activities to challenge their capabilities, broaden their horizons, and increase their self-confidence. It is for girls age 11-17 and in grades 6-12. Members often participate in rock climbing, caving, kayaking, backpacking, travel, hiking and other similar high-adventure activities.
