CANCELED — Rainbow's End Girl Scout Camp
THIS SUMMER CAMP HAS BEEN CANCELED.
Hold the dates for next summer! Rainbow's End Weekend Camp will be back June 25–27, 2021.
Go Outside & Play
Enjoy Girl Scout traditions like sing-alongs, campfires, s’mores, and SWAPS (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere). Catch bugs, enjoy the beauty of flowers, identify poison ivy, play outside, and earn badges. We will camp in tents for two nights. Girls at the Brownie and Junior age levels (grades 2-5) may attend as campers. Leadership opportunities are available for older girls.
What to Expect at Camp
Friday night, Girl Scouts will set up their sleep spaces, have a flag ceremony, eat supper, and have a dance party and board games. Your Girl Scout will spend the night in a tent with a buddy in her patrol. Saturday, we’ll start with a flag ceremony and breakfast. The morning and afternoon are spent working on badge requirements, outdoor cooking, archery, and other programs. Weather permitting, we typically have a visit from the Pembroke Fire Department pump truck for a late afternoon cool off. Your Girl Scout will play camp-wide games, put on a skit at the Saturday night campfire, and sleep a second night in her tent. Sunday morning is a Scout’s Own ceremony, reflection time, and free program time before our closing ceremony at 1 PM.
