Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council (GSVSC) bylaws provides for the election of service unit and at-large delegates. A huge “Thank You” goes out to all who take time to vote and to provide valuable input. Delegates attend our council’s annual meeting, vote on any amendments to our council bylaws and elect the board, the board development committee and, every three years, elect our national council delegates and alternate delegates to the Girl Scouts of the USA National Council Meeting.

Each service unit is entitled to elect two delegates who are members 14 years of age or older. Remaining nominees may be elected to serve as substitute delegates.

The following at- large groups may also elect two delegates from their group: Adventurers, Alumnae, Lifetime Members, Camp Administrators and Trainers. Use this link to get more information on at-large delegates.
