Volunteers

There are a lot of ways to volunteer in Girl Scouts. It can be for a day, a week or a month. For girls to benefit from Girl Scouting, they need the guidance of concerned, caring adults. Adults like you! For some volunteers, that guidance may be given through working directly with girls throughout the year. For others, it may be to lend expertise for a specific short-term project or event. More girls are becoming Girl Scouts each day, and they need you and your time -- in fact, any spare time you have. We can create a volunteer opportunity that suits your lifestyle.  What's in it for you? When you offer to volunteer for an hour, for a day or on a regular basis you will feel wonderful knowing that you have helped a girl to be her best. Girl Scouting has created a variety of volunteer positions for you. There is a place for you in Girl Scouting that can accommodate your schedule and use your skills.

Get involved! You won't regret it. Call us at 800.542.5905 or email us!

Our Values & Mission

The values that underlie Girl Scouting are reflected in the mission statement that guides the program's activities. The Promise and Law, which every Girl Scout learns, reflect the goals girls are taught through participation in Girl Scouting.

Our Mission Statement

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be
     honest and fair,
     friendly and helpful,
     considerate and caring,
     courageous and strong,
and responsible for what I say and do,
and to
     respect myself and others,
     respect authority,
     use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.
