Camp Like a Girl Scout!
Be Prepared for Adventure!
Girl Scout Camp is an outdoor program designed to give girls a positive and fun experience in the great outdoors. Under the guidance of trained and enthusiastic leaders, each camp provides age-appropriate activities allowing girls to experience a variety of Girl Scout programs in an outdoor setting. Activities include arts, crafts, games, nature study, outdoor-cooking skills, overnight camp-outs and lots more! Some camps offer swimming, boating and/or high-adventure activities for teen girls. Summer Camp Leadership Training is also offered for girls currently in the 6th grade and above who wish to learn more about becoming a camp staff member.

Time: Day Camp only: 8 AM – 4 PM daily (Beginning times may be earlier depending on activities. Parents will be notified on a daily basis.)

Ages: Pre-Vet Science Day Camp: Juniors and Cadettes (as of Fall 2013) may attend as campers.
Vet Science Day Camp: Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors (girls entering grades 7-12 as of Fall 2013) may attend as campers. Girls in 7th grade who have previously participated in at least two Pre-Vet Science Camps may register for Vet Science Camp.

A Venture North Resident Troop Camp: Girl Scouting 101
Overnight camp
Date & Time: June 21-23, 2013; 5-7 PM arrival Friday – mid-morning Sunday (Please notify camp director if your troop will arrive after 7 PM on Friday.)
Place: Verdun Adventure Bound, Rixeyville, VA (Camp is located off Hwy. 229, 10 miles north of Culpeper.)
Ages: Troops of all age levels may attend as campers. MANDATORY: Each troop must have an Outdoor Education certified adult and a CPR/First Aider.
