Take a trip to Camelot and enjoy a week of medieval merriment at Singing Cedars Day Camp as you step back to a time of lords, ladies, knights and castles. From archery and swordsmanship to song and dance, girls will discover the adventures of knights, as well as learn the courtly skills of maidens. Who doesn’t enjoy a little medieval tomfoolery?

Rising 6th graders and older will stay overnight on Wednesday and Thursday, with rising 3rd–5th graders joining on Thursday.
Rising 1st graders and above may attend as campers.
Camp Leadership Programs
Camp Program Assistant (CPA) (grades 7 and up)
This program is for girls who want to help younger campers. CPAs assist leaders in carrying out camp programs and activities. Space for this program is very limited. They must register for camp and attend a staff planning session prior to camp.
Counselor-in-Training (CIT) (grades 8 and up) (formerly known as Counselor Apprentice)
Older girls may apply to become a CIT. They must complete a CIT application and attend GSVSC’s CIT training. Check www.gsvsc.org/calendar or this publication’s training section for more information. They must register for camp and attend a staff planning session prior to camp.
Counselor-in-Training II (CIT II) (grades 10 and up, and have served at a GSVSC summer camp as a CIT) (formerly known as Junior Counselor)
Girls can apply to be a CIT II if they have previous camp leadership experience. They must register for camp and attend a staff planning session prior to camp.

Parents/guardians are responsible for transportation to and from camp. Parents are encouraged to form carpools with other campers in the area or with their troop.

$20 of the camp fee is nonrefundable after May 24, 2013. Refund requests must be made in writing and received by the camp director no later than June 3, 2013.
There will be a parent/camper meeting on Sunday, June 16, 2013, at 6 PM at Westover Park in Shelter #3. Confirmation will be sent to campers/parents 1-2 weeks prior to the opening of camp by email and/or mail. Credit cards are not accepted for this camp.
