Come to Monticello to walk in the footsteps of Thomas Jefferson! Special 2013 Scout programming includes both guided and self-guided exploration. The day’s activities include a guided tour of Jefferson’s world-famous house, a dance workshop, activities in the vegetable garden, hands-on learning in the Griffin Discovery Room, games on the lawn, and more! Participants will receive a Monticello patch and create their own “ivory note cards” to record the day’s discoveries.
Participants may attend as individuals (with sponsor/adult/parent) or troops (with appropriate number of leaders/adults). Parent/guardian or leader will need to stay during the program.
