The Local Colors Festival highlights the ethnic and cultural diversity of the Roanoke Valley. It’s the largest attended one-day festival in Roanoke. Come join the celebration by marching in the Parade of Nations representing the World Association of Girl Guides & Girl Scouts – we’ll provide a banner, flags, placards and free patches! Your troop just needs to provide the marchers! We also need teen girls to help with the arts, crafts and games at the children’s area which is sponsored by the Girl Scouts. Provide 2 hours of service and receive a free Girl Scout-Local Colors Festival 2013 patch and a special gift. Troops can also setup a fundraiser table at the festival alongside our display area within the children’s section.

Participants may attend as individuals or troops.
