Join students and faculty at Bridgewater College for a day of activities relating to environmental sustainability. Girls will experiment with solar panels, learn how to build an indoor composting bin, explore alternative energy sources and discover ways to reduce waste at home. Ride the “Green Wave” by learning to conserve Earth’s resources by practicing the 3 Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Discover the world of vermiculture by getting down and dirty with earthworms. Make the Connections between natural resources and the energy we use in daily life. Take Action to encourage sustainable living in your community.


Participants may attend as individuals (with sponsor/adult/parent) or troops (with appropriate number of leaders/adults). Parent/guardian or leader will need to stay during the program.
