Girl Scouts will team up with campers at Camp Kum Ba Yah* to discover extradordinary things TOGETHER! During this “combo” camp girls will have an opportunity to swing down the ziplines, climb the rock wall, canoe, swim, and explore the trails out at Camp Kum Ba Yah! Oh but wait! The fun does not stop there! In the late afternoon girls will head over to Camp Sacajawea for the overnight! Girls will explore Native American themed activities and crafts; build tee pees, camp fires, share campfire skits, songs, s’mores and much more! Girls will leave this camp with a greater understanding of friendship, the outdoors and the confidence to try new things!

July 15-19, 2013; 8:30 AM Monday – 3:30-4 PM Friday (5 days, 4 nights; Pick-up and drop-off will be at Camp Kum Ba Yah)


Yes. Campers will arrive at Camp Kum Ba Yah at 8:30 AM Monday and will depart camp at 4 PM Friday. Overnights will be at Camp Sacajawea each night.


Campers’ Ages
Juniors (girls ages 9-12) may attend as campers.


$300 Camp fee, includes 5 days (at Camp Kum Ba Yah) and 4 nights (at Camp Sacajawea) and all meals
$12 Membership fee for non-Girl Scouts

Parents/guardians are responsible for their daughters’ transportation to and from camp. Parents are encouraged to form carpools with other campers in the area or with their troop.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
GSVSC Cancellation Policy applies to this camp.


Girls should bring a bag with clothes and toiletries to stay for four nights. Each girl will need to bring her own sleeping bag, water bottle, bug spray, water shoes and closed toe shoes. No flip flops will be permitted at either camp. A reminder of what to bring will be emailed two weeks prior to camp.
