You will spend the day learning the history, safety and skills to shoot clay pigeons with a shotgun, throw tomahawks, and shoot arrows with a bow. This event will empower girls with knowledge and skills for a lifetime. This event is for girls 12-18 years of age. Come join us on the course!

Fee:  $60.00/participant
Min/Max Girls:  12/24 participants
Patch included:  no; optional Adventurers patch available for $2; optional Adventurers performance t-shirts for $15 (short-sleeve) or $20 (long-sleeve); optional previous t-shirts for $12 (short-sleeve); optional Adventurers bandanna for $5 (please indicate items and sizes on registration).

Adventurers Scholarship
Through the generosity of donors, a scholarship fund has been established in honor of our group’s founder, Barbara Duerk, to help girls participate in Adventurers activities. Requests may not be more than $100/year, and each application will be considered on a case by case basis. Details, criteria and application for this scholarship fund can be found here . Adventurers is an action-oriented group of older Girl Scouts who are seeking exciting activities to challenge their capabilities, broaden their horizons, and increase their self-confidence. It is for girls age 11-17 and in grades 6-12.
