This Silver Award Workshop is required for all Girl Scouts wanting to earn their Silver Award, which is the second highest award a Girl Scout can earn. This workshop is designed to help guide advisors and girls through the seven steps and gives additional information about developing a plan and a project, and the Silver Award final approval process.

Girls can pursue the Girl Scout Silver Award if:

> They're in middle school (sixth, seventh, or eighth grade, or equivalent). 
> They're registered as a Girl Scout Cadette.
> They've completed a Cadette Journey.
