Camp Theme: Out of this World!

Camp Description
Come to camp and gaze into the stars! Blast into space and discover the universe all around. Sugar Hollow traditions will continue: we will wade in the creek, enjoy nature, tie-dye, hike, sing around the camp fire, learn outdoor skills, cook over the fire, and sleep under the stars as we make new friends at camp. On-site activities will include archery for girls going into grades 4 through 7. In addition, the rising 7th grade Cadette unit may have one day of off-site activity, such as kayaking.

Girls are grouped according to their rising grade and Girl Scout level and will earn a special patch from the GSVSC summer camp progression program plus our unique SHDC 2019 patch. Rising first graders are limited to one session. There will be a rising 7th grade Cadette unit offered at least one of the two sessions; this will be specified on our website before registration opens. Unit capacity varies depending on level; many units DO reach capacity before registration closure, so register early.
