The Campus Scouts at Virginia Tech are hosting a fun hiking trip. This event is for Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors who are interested in learning the basics of semaphore, Morse Code and trail markings. We will meet at the Huckleberry Trail head located at the New River Valley Mall at 10 AM. Pick-up will be located at the Public Pond Park on 750 Heather Drive off Prices Fork Road at 4 PM the same day. Please bring a backpack, lunch, snacks, water bottle, extra socks, and poncho or raincoat; wear closed-toed shoes with laces.

Participants may attend as troops/groups (with appropriate # of leaders/adults). Parent/guardian or leader will need to stay during the program. Each troop must have at least one leader (who is First Aid trained). Campus Scouts will have enough adults to supplement adult-to-child ratios.
