Come join us for fun for a tour around the world. You provide information on one WAGGGS country, and visit all the others! The 2019 World Thinking Day theme is “Leadership.” This year we are hoping to provide activities to help all girls earn the award (award not provided; a fun patch is provided) in addition to the tour of the world booths that we all work toward.

Please plan to bring a poster about the country, a flag or flag representation, a sample food item, and swaps.

As the theme is LEADERSHIP, we are also asking that you try to find a female leader from the country of your choice, and create something to help share this information. This does not have to be a government official, but someone who is leading a cause or an organization in your chosen country. You could talk about how and/or why she leads, and if she inspired your troop --- you can share this with a poster, collage, poem, or even a video (video equipment is NOT provided) or another form --- use your imagination! (This is to help all Girl Scouts attending earn the World Thinking Day 2019 Award that is worn on the front of vests/sashes). Also with this years theme, if your country uses different wording for the promise and law, please bring something to show that as well.

Participants may attend as individuals with a guardian/parent/adult or with troops that provide the appropriate number of leaders and adult chaperones needed to meet the girl-to-adult ratios for their age-level. Guardian/parent/adult chaperones and troop leaders are required to stay during the entire program.
