Wagons West: A Prairie Sojourn
Join the Adventurers on a seven day wagon train trip across the prairies of North Dakota. Experience the life of a settler travelling by prairie schooner along the trails to the west. The group will fly to Minneapolis and travel by car to Jamestown, North Dakota, to be immersed into our wagon train experience. Participants will join in the pioneer life: camping in tents, dressing in period costumes, helping with daily chores, and walking or riding along in the wagon each day.
At this point there is the option to fly back to Virginia OR continuing with an extension of the trip to travel to South Dakota and Minnesota where the group will visit sites made famous in the Little House on the Prarie books: De Smet, SD, and Walnut Grove, MN. Anyone who has ever wondered what life was like on the prairie then this is the trip for you! Check-out the Fort Seward Wagon Train here.
Participants may attend as individuals only.
