Adventurers is CHALLENGING YOU TO CHALLENGE YOURSELF with this 2-night experience backpacking on the Appalachian Trail. Participants will hike through Grayson Highlands State Park home of the famous wild ponies and home of Mt. Rogers (the highest point in Virginia)!

This 2-night option is available for those with at least one backpacking trip under their belts. Backpacks, tents, stoves and other equipment are provided making this an inexpensive way to enjoy backpacking (and ponies!).

A mandatory pre-planning session will be held the weekend before for any girls that have not backpacked with the Adventurers previously. Drop-off and pick-up is located at the backpackers parking lot at Grayson Highlands State Park. There is at $10 fee to get into the state park. Carpooling may be available.

Participants may attend as individuals only.
