Join us for a one night adventure to discover the beautiful Burke's Garden, known as "God's Thumprint." From the Appalachian Trail, we will view this bowl-shaped valley carved out of the top of a mountain which offers some of the world's most breathtaking views. We will camp near Chestnut Knob Shelter, a unique old stone cabin. Backpacks, tents, stoves, and other equipment are provided, making this an economical way to discover the joys of backpacking.

A mandatory pre-planning session will be held for any girls that have not backpacked with the Adventurers before.

<< If roads are closed due to weather, then the group will hike McAfee's Knob (Roanoke) instead. >>

Participants may attend as individuals.
