Welcome GS Community Cookie Team!

Thanks to our Girl Scout communities/service units, the cookie sale runs smoothly for girls and their troops. You play a big supporting role in the largest girl-led business in the world! A troop receives 63 cents/box of cookies sold and an additional two cents bonus when their troop averages 150 boxes per girl. Direct proceeds to troops in Virginia Skyline Council totaled $565,000 last year! Thanks for all your hard work & dedication.

Direct Cookie Sales
This is our second year you can sell cookies directly. Starting the first week of January, cookies will be available for troops to sell in-hand door-to-door or through booth sales – like for Super Bowl weekend or Valentine’s Day! Cookies and payment can be exchanged on the spot in on quick, easy step!!

National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend 2014!
Save the date: Fri., Feb. 7 & Sat., Feb. 8
On this weekend, Girl Scouts across the nation will band together to speak as a single, powerful voice to raise awareness of the Girl Scout Cookie Program and to drive cookie sales. Make sure you have a cookie booth somewhere in a well-traveled or well-visited location on Friday, Feb. 7 or Saturday, Feb. 8. There’s also a National GS Cookie Day 2014 Patch too (last year’s shown)! Available through The Skyline Shop.

PR Cookies Available
This year we received over 800 boxes of cookies to use in our PR efforts — thank-you’s to delivery station hosts, local media pitches, big community collaborators, etc. We ordered lots of the new cookies (Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Shortbread & Cranberry Citrus Crisps), Thin Mints, Thanks-A-Lots and Lemonades. We have small amounts of the other cookie varieties. Also free PR bags, cookie sale pins and cookie sale balloons are available as well. Samplers are not being offered this year. PR cookies will be delivered to you by field staff at your service unit/GS community meetings. If you have a specific PR cookies request, please contact your field staff member who will attend your next meeting.
