Volunteer Services Manager-SW – Exempt, Full-Time
This position covers the counties of Grayson, Wythe, Carroll, Pulaski, Giles, Montgomery,
Floyd, Craig, Roanoke, and Botetourt as well as the cities of Galax, Radford & Roanoke. Under the direction of the Volunteer Services Director, Volunteer Services Managers ensure that local volunteers are carefully recruited, appointed, trained, supervised, evaluated and recognized in accordance with GSVSC volunteer management policies. Ensure a positive onboarding experience. Responsible for identifying areas of volunteer needs and creating resources to ensure volunteer learning opportunities are in place. Ensure high levels of volunteer satisfaction through ongoing support and recognition of Council volunteers who execute the Girl Scout Leadership Experience based on the National Program Portfolio; Improve and enhance Council volunteer retention.

Retail Sales Assistant 1 – Non-exempt, Part-time
Under direction of Retail Sales Manager, the Retail Sales Assistant is responsible for providing operational support to the Council retail shop function, including mobile shops.

Responsible for overseeing the health and safety of campers and staff at designated camp site.
