Discover
Sacajawea! It is located near the James River on a beautifully
wooded site, only minutes from Lynchburg.
Tramp through 119 acres on the many
well-marked trails that provide campers with information about
animals and their tracks, trees, birds, and flowers and a chance
to learn animal names in American Sign Language. Judith Creek beckons
campers to wade on a hot day, while the playing field provides
a place to enjoy sports and games. Learn about nature while earning
the Sunspot patch. For those troops anxious to try a winter overnight,
Gay Lodge and Troop House have winterized facilities.
